Dr Congo
2009: Women in recovery from fistula repair in the Heal Africa Hospital in Goma, the Democratic Republic of the Congo with their healing quilts of comfort and love made by members of EBHQ.
Bacho, Tanzania
2011: The non-profit Karimu Foundation of Santa Cruz, has built two school buildings, teacher's housing, and a basic health clinic here, as well as brought sanitation and clean running water to the village. EBHQ member Anne March is coordinating distribution efforts in summer of 2011 with foundation volunteers hand carrying our quilts in their luggage to the new mothers in Bacho.
I'm hoping that we will be receiving some great pictures from Anne in July for this page.

An EBHQ quilt hanging at the Heal Africa Hospital in Goma in the Jubilee Center where all the training for the health care workers is conducted. The quilt was made from donations from four different quilt guild members. Anyone recognize their own little leftover triangles and two-patches?
